By accessing or using Codex Reset, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What Codex Reset Provides

Codex Reset is a free, independent public information tracker. It organizes public reports about broad Codex usage-limit reset events, presents historical records and probabilistic forecasts, links to supporting sources, and offers optional reset alerts.

Codex Reset is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI. It does not access your OpenAI account, private usage data, API keys, credentials, or account-specific reset time. Your own Codex /status view is the authoritative source for your account's displayed usage window.

The site currently has no paid plans, purchases, billing, or refund program. Submitting an email address for a reset alert creates only an alert subscription; it does not create a Codex Reset user account.

Informational Nature and Accuracy

Public reset reports can be incomplete, delayed, changed, or wrong. Forecasts are estimates based on reviewed history and time since the latest confirmed event, not official schedules or guarantees. A public global reset may not affect every account, plan, region, or product in the same way.

We aim to correct material errors and distinguish confirmed events from unconfirmed signals, but we do not guarantee that content, forecasts, alerts, links, or availability will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular decision. Verify account-specific information in Codex and important claims through the linked original sources.

Alert Subscriptions

You may subscribe to optional reset alerts without creating an account. You must provide an email address you are authorized to use. Delivery timing is not guaranteed, and messages may be delayed or blocked by email providers. Every alert includes an unsubscribe method.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Break applicable law or infringe another person's rights.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the site, its administration, data, or infrastructure.
• Disrupt, overload, scrape at an abusive rate, or bypass technical protections on the service.
• Submit another person's contact information without authorization, send spam, distribute malware, or use the service deceptively.
• Misrepresent Codex Reset as an official OpenAI service or present its forecasts as guaranteed account information.

Reasonable browsing, linking, citation, and research use remain permitted.

Content, Sources, and Trademarks

The original presentation, explanatory text, software, and site-generated analysis are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public reports and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are linked or attributed for verification and commentary.

“Codex,” “OpenAI,” and third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the subject or source and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Third-Party Services and Links

The site links to public evidence and may use third-party hosting, analytics, email, communication, consent-management, and advertising services. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Advertising

Codex Reset does not currently display Google AdSense ads. If advertising is enabled later, ads will be identified and handled under the Privacy Policy, applicable law, and the relevant advertising-platform policies. Advertising will not convert forecasts or public reports into sponsored claims, and advertisers will not receive control over event verification.

Suspension and Changes to the Service

We may limit access that violates these Terms or threatens users, data, or infrastructure. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue features, alerts, or the site itself. Because the public tracker has no user-account product, there is no account-closure process under these Terms; alert subscriptions can be ended through the unsubscribe method.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Codex Reset is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use the site. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after an update means the revised Terms apply from that point, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
