When is the next Codex reset?
There is no guaranteed public appointment. Open the live next-reset outlook for current 24-hour and 48-hour estimates, confidence and the data timestamp. A prediction concerns a possible public event, not a private entitlement or a promise to restore your usage.
What the forecast estimates
The forecast concerns a possible public global reset, not when your own account window will reopen. Read your signed-in usage view for that private value; use the reset-time guide if the distinction is unclear.
Read probability together with evidence
A percentage is an estimate over the stated horizon. It is not an appointment, countdown or guarantee. The next 24 hours and the next 48 hours are overlapping horizons, so do not add the percentages. Check the timestamp, confidence and latest evidence together.
Which model produced it?
Depending on available data, the display can use a fresh source-provided forecast or a historical-interval fallback. The monitor also has a recent-interval median model. This is not a claim that every displayed probability comes from one fixed eight-interval calculation. Source forecasts and recovery data have their own freshness limits. See the methodology.
Why confidence stays limited
Public reports are incomplete and may share the same underlying announcement. Product policies and account eligibility change. A recent cluster of reports can be context without proving that a reset happened. A preview remains a preview until the recorded evidence supports a completed global event.
Use the estimate for planning
Save work before a long task, inspect your account allowance and use the public forecast only as context. A low probability cannot rule out an event; a high probability cannot restore capacity. For practical actions after a limit message, see Codex usage-limit resets.
